In the early 1970s, Yvan Allouche, a biological researcher, recognized a need for treatments that achieved instantly visible results. His focus was using high concentrations of active ingredients and choosing only the purest botanical, marine and biotechnological extracts. Out of that passion, he created Biologique Recherche's original skin care products and methodology.

Josette Allouche, a licensed physiotherapist, designed massage techniques to incorporate the products for professional treatments. Her gentle sculpting motions are a critical part of the Biologique Recherche method. Josette's graduate training in classics, osteopathy and sophrology also inspired Biologique Recherche's holistic approach to beauty.

In the early 1990s, Philippe Allouche, M.D., a specialist in internal medicine and skin pathology in Paris, decided to join his parents at Biologique Recherche. He found the quality of existing products available for pre- and post-surgery care unsatisfactory, and wanted to develop superior clinical skin care preparations at Biologique Recherche. Over the years his passion for seeking globally the most superior ingredients aided in his subsequent recognition in the press as “the skin designer.”
Biologique Recherche began as a pioneer in the skin care industry and continues today its tradition of skin care excellence. Over years Biologique Recherche has developed into a “cult brand” for people who have discovered the magic of building better skin.
